Woodson Is Hall Of Fame’s Featured Player Of The Week
Packers Story: Packers cornerback Charles Woodson has been chosen as the Packers Hall of Fame Featured Player of the Week in recognition of his performance against the Arizona Cardinals. The exhibit contains memorabilia from the victory over the Cardinals, including a game ball autographed by Woodson.
Woodson, also recognized for performances in Weeks 2, 10, 12, closed out the regular season in excellent fashion by returning a second-quarter interception 45 yards for a touchdown. It was his third interception return for a TD this season (tying a team record) and seventh of his Green Bay career. Woodson now has eight defensive touchdowns (seven interception returns, one fumble return) in a Packers uniform, a new franchise record. Herb Adderley (7 INT) and Darren Sharper (5 INT, 2 FR) held the previous mark. He also tied Adderley in team annals for interception returns for scores.
