C.J. Spiller is sitting atop the Bills depth chart in their first weekly game release of the season.
Though it is listed as the unofficial depth chart it is a change from preseason depth charts, which had Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch ahead of the rookie. Jackson and Lynch are both listed as the backup with a slash separating their names.
Spiller led the NFL with three rushing TDs in the preseason as he carried the ball 26 times for 122 yards.
Guess we’ll find out officially on Wed. from head coach Chan Gailey if Spiller will be the starter Sunday against the Dolphins.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Bears on Saturday reached the NFL's mandatory 53-man roster limit by waiving 21 players including offensive lineman Josh Beekman, safety Al Afalava, special teams standout Tim Shaw, defensive lineman Jarron Gilbert and wide receiver Juaquin Iglesias.

CLEVELAND – The Bears weren't exactly a juggernaut in the preseason, scoring only 46 points, the second fewest in the NFL. But tight end Greg Olsen isn't concerned as the regular-season looms.

The New England Patriots made a series of roster moves to get down to the NFL Mandatory 75-man limit today. The Patriots placed S Josh Barrett (shoulder), CB Leigh Bodden (shoulder), DB Brett Lockett (chest) and DL Darryl Richard (foot) on injured reserve and released DB Terrence Johnson.
