DAILY REPORT
–The Buffalo Bills today announced the signing of first-round draft selection (10th overall) CB Stephon Gilmore. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Gilmore, a two-time All-Southeastern Conference selection at South Carolina, started all 40 games played. The 6-1, 190-pound cornerback recorded 181 tackles (140 solo), 17 passes break-ups, eight interceptions and seven sacks in his Gamecocks career. Gilmore is the seventh of the Bills’ nine draft picks to sign with the team.
–Bills third-round draft pick (69th overall) WR T.J. Graham will be one of 35 of the top 2012 NFL Draft picks to make their professional debut beginning today at the NFLPA Rookie Premier presented by Nike in Los Angeles. The rookies will wear professional jerseys for the first time and be the first class to sport Nike’s new uniforms as they participate in photo shoots at the Rose Bowl by trading card companies Panini America and Topps. Today, they will conduct a healthy lifestyle and fitness program for 200 high school students.
–The Buffalo Bills announced yesterday a renewed partnership with the hotel of the Buffalo Bills, and the venue where the team stays before each home game played at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Adam’s Mark Hotel & Events Center, just 15 minutes from Ralph Wilson Stadium features 485 deluxe newly renovated guest rooms, extensive spaces for meetings and events, a complimentary fitness center and an indoor pool.

May 17, 1995 — FIELDHOUSE TO SERVE AS GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE
The team announced that when it was completed, the new practice fieldhouse would serve as a place for fans to gather before kickoff on gamedays, similar to the “NFL Experience” popular at the Super Bowl.

“I love playing football and that’s the main reason I play so I wasn’t going to let (the contract) be a distraction. I wasn’t really worried about it. I knew Buffalo was going to come through. Now I can just focus on football and do what I do.”

“Buddy Nix has been a guy that has been very fair to all his players, he’s been a guy who’s been trying to create a competitive atmosphere. Buddy caught me in the hallway one day and said, ‘Look, we’re looking to create some competition for that number two spot at quarterback, we are bringing in Vince Young. We made him an offer. We’ll see if he comes. But just to let you know, obviously, you are our guy and we are just trying to get better at every position.’ When people are upfront and honest with you and telling you what is going on, then it makes everything go much smoother. And for me, I’m a guy that’s got to go out there and perform, and I know that, just like every quarterback in the league knows that. I met Vince the other day and he seems like a really good guy.”
