The Dolphins are still tweaking their roster much like the Bills with the opener in Orchard Park just six days away.
Miami signed LB Bobby Carpenter and released LB Charlie Anderson.
Carpenter is his fifth NFL season and has seen action in 58 career games, including three starts, all with the Dallas Cowboys. The 6-2, 249-pounder was the 18th overall selection of the Cowboys in the 2006 NFL Draft, which was overseen by former Cowboys and current Dolphins Executive VP of Football Operations Bill Parcells.
Carpenter spent the 2010 training camp with St. Louis Rams after being traded for tackle Alex Barron this past May.
